Responsibilities Of Security Guards

Security guards are responsible for providing low-level protection for businesses and organizations, which usually entails patrolling the premises on foot or in a company vehicle (driving company vehicles requires a valid driver's license, of course). The job may encompass very stressful scenarios depending on the institution being monitored, therefore being able to function well under pressure is essential. For this position, a high school diploma or equivalent is usually necessary, while some employers may prefer candidates with at least an associate's degree.
